The Changemakers Hub is a flexible community venue available for meetings, events, training, workshops and community activities.

Our Spaces

Main Hall accommodates up to 150 people. 

Classroom 1 accommodates up to 20 people. 

Classroom 2 and Classroom 3 each accommodate up to 20 people. 

A reception and kitchenette area is also available.

Pricing

Main Hall (Monday to Friday): £25 per hour, 

£80 for a 4-hour block, 

£150 for a day rate (9am to 5pm), 

£300 for an evening (5.30pm to 10pm).

Main Hall (Saturday to Sunday): £400 per morning, afternoon or evening slot, £700 for any two slots, £1,000 for a full day.

Classrooms: £20 per hour.

Equipment Available to Hire (each £20): Urn, speakers with microphone, projector and screen, TV screen.

Table and chair layout setup is available for an additional £50.

Payments

All payments are made by bank transfer. A 50% deposit confirms your booking, with the remaining 50% due at least 14 days before your event. Bookings made within 14 days must be paid in full upfront.

Refundable Deposit

A £200 refundable deposit is required, returned within 14 days after your hire.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges apply:

More than 28 days before your event: 10% of the total cost is retained.

8 to 28 days before your event: 50% of the total cost is retained.

Within 7 days of your event: the full amount is retained. However, if we are able to rebook the same date to another hirer, 50% will be refunded to you.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

Good to Know

The venue closes at 10.30pm. Music must stop by 9pm. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. The main named hirer at the time of booking must be present throughout their event. Public liability insurance is recommended (minimum £5 million cover).
